Affiliate Partner At Humata.ai (apply here)
Humata recently launched their ▶️ AI ChatBot for reading and summarizing academic documents and fact-checking references. Humata allows you to chat with all of your files all at once and get highlighted answers so you can fact-check on the spot and guarantee correctness -- 10x better than ChatGPT. They are bringing on Affiliate Partners to share their ChatBot with more students (and make money along the way!) Here’s the logistics:
Work as much as you want (US-based students only).
Make 21% commission on sales you make (they already have some students doing really well and making upwards of 1K per month).
Humata has two plans: A $1.99 student plan and a $9.99 expert plan. Whichever plans you get people to sign up for, you’ll make 21% of!
Here’s how we’d do it: If you have access to email lists at your university, club chats, or have a ton of friends, you can share your affiliate link with them to get your friends to sign up. With finals around the corner, there really isn’t a better time for people to sign up for Humata!

Marketing Intern at Longsock
Longsock is an early-stage consumer startup that makes toys based on canine psychology to appeal to dogs’ natural instincts - not the dog parents’ expectations. Our toys exercise dogs’ minds and provide a safe outlet for natural behaviors, leading to fewer behavioral issues for dogs and peace of mind for their parents.
We are launching for pre-order in January with the new “Longsock” brand. Your role is to increase awareness of the brand and encourage customers to place “pre-order” orders on the website. You will lead three main channels - influencer gifting, partnerships, and organic social.
You will work side-by-side with the founder Natallia, learning by doing. At the end of this internship you will have an in-depth understanding of a number of cutting-edge grassroots brand marketing strategies. Longsock will pay for any additional coursework or classes to supplement your learning.
Here are the logistics:
Location: Remote (with a possibility of co-working in New York as desired)
Duration: January - April 2024
Type: Unpaid Internship
Time Commitment: 10 hours / week
Department: Marketing

Resume Breakdown
Here’s a quick practical guide on what you can do to make your resume better, with a real resume example! Listen to the podcast version here, or read the highlights below (full picture of the resume at the bottom of this page):
Education:
We LOVE how this student put their courses and their awards instead of their GPA and test scores. Truthfully… most startups don’t care about GPA. Listing your coursework, skills, and awards is a much better use of that space.
Length
This resume was unfortunately 2 pages long… no bueno! This student has great experience, but it can be overshadowed by a resume that is >1 page. I think that their list of languages & frameworks that they’ve worked with got cut off to the second page. Please always make sure that you submit your resume as a PDF and confirm that it is 1 page long before submitting!
Company Notes
Next to the names of the company, the student puts some information about the company (like this). SO GOOD! When you intern at startups and small businesses, people don’t know the names. Give the reader some info about the company, like how much investment they’ve raised, how many employees there are, how much revenue they do, etc. The more impressive you can make the company sound, the better for you!
Keep it Quantitative
Numbers are always better than adjectives. “12k lines of code” is a great description. The more you can write like this, the better!
Links!
What do I think this student was missing? Links to past projects. If you have projects (or marketing/design portfolios for that matter!) that are pubicly available, do yourself a favor and link to them so the company can see your past work! This is the biggest hack that I’ve seen help students land their dream internships.
